The Giggling Goose is located in a beautiful converted 15th Century former corn mill in the centre of Ambleside.

They serve delicious homemade food and their ingredients are locally sourced and organic where possible. Try their Hungryman Soup (a pint of warming soup) or Stew of the Day with a chunk of bread.

They endeavour to start each day with a choice of over 15 different cakes, slices, scones etc. (all made at The Old Mill). They use the best teas and locally roasted coffee beans from Farrers of Kendal who are one of the oldest indepent blenders and roasters in the UK.

They are dog friendly. Visit them with your pooch and sit inside the converted mill or in their lovely riverside garden.
